Dear VIP members,
This is a very difficult letter to write to the trainers who have supported us in recent years.
We have seen a sharp decline in our revenues in recent months and while historically we have seen monthly sales volumes drop periodically the following month(s) business has bounced back to previous levels. We are now seeing something quite different and in trying to understand the causes we have identified what we believe to be the key factors. First of all, a number of key competitors have been sold to much larger companies who, compared to us, have seemingly limitless funds supporting their marketing, whether it be in print advertising or more significantly social media budgets. The second key influence that seems to be affecting multiple small companies across a wide range of industries is the impact of AI on buyers purchasing habits.
These circumstances have led to us being forced, on what we hope will be a temporary basis, to suspend the discounts and credits that have been available to all of our VIP’s since we introduced the program a number of years ago. This change will go into effect on August 19, 2024, until further notice. We very much hope that you will continue to purchase Grand Premium Plus and our other products on the basis of their efficacy and the fact that, even at full retail, the Grand Premium Plus is still a considerably lower price than other products in the category.
There is no easy way to convey how difficult and frustrating these new circumstances are, especially when I feel that Grand Meadows represents the very best in terms of our products and our customer service over the many years we have been in business, but the world is clearly changing and we have to adapt as best as we can if we want to remain as a functioning business.
