What is Nanotechnology and How Does it Work?

NANOFLEX™ represents the first significant evolution in joint support for animals in several decades. Harnessing the power of nanotechnology, this joint product for horses, dogs, and cats is a dramatic breakthrough with a unique topical delivery system and a very different mechanism of action in the joint.

Ultra Deformable Sequessome™ Vesicles (UDSV) are drawn through the dermal layer. UDSV penetrate the synovial membrane. Inside the joint capsule, the highly hydrated UDSV accumulates on the cartilage tissue to help support normal joint function.

Efficacy

The efficacy of NANOFLEX™ was evaluated in a 3-phase cross-over trial in a group of working horses selected on the basis of their advanced functional age and the condition of their hocks and fetlocks. The horses were assessed by stride analysis as a reliable means of indicating joint function. Improvement in stride patterns and particular stride length indicated a positive symptomatic outcome. The results of the trial of this joint support product for horses, dogs, and cats are in the process of publication.

Directions for Use

Apply NANOFLEX™ lightly 2 times a day to the joints. It is not necessary to rub it in unless you are applying it to a thick coat, whereby, depending on the thickness of the coat, it may be necessary to try to part the coat to apply it closer to the skin.

A very important note - NANOFLEX™ is not a topical analgesic. This means that it takes time to work anywhere from 24 hours to 2 weeks based on the circumstances of the joint(s).
